My name is Jessette. I'm an Art Director based in this sunny island city of Singapore.

My real name is Jesusa Ayala Dayate - Catral, but I'm just "Jessette" to my friends and colleagues.

I'm a multi-disciplinary art director with experience covering traditional and digital media.

I have a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Visual Communication. Heavily trained in this field, I have pursued print design, advertising, art direction for photography and publication design during the first 6 years of my career. These valuable experiences have served me well for the past 7 years when I shifted to interactive design and the digital platform.

My recent role as art director includes creative leadership as well as technical know-how of current web & mobile technologies. My 6 years of engagement with my recent employer, Forecepts have defined and built the company’s corporate image in Singapore. My pitch concept designs are able to win new projects and served as company milestones – thus strengthening Forecept’s design portfolio and attracting new businesses.

I have strong conceptual skills and an extensive hands-on expertise in crafting beautiful, functional and pixel-perfect interactive designs. My illustration skills have also proved to be an indispensable and valuable asset.

I’m interested in idea generation and leveraging intelligent designs to push the boundaries of current digital technologies. I’m currently searching for exciting career opportunities in the fields of creative digital media and advertising.

When I'm not immersed in the world of digital experiences, I love to doodle during lunch breaks. I'm a huge fan of Alphonse Mucha's Art Noveau style. I love travel, art galleries, the outdoors, modern literature, running and mountain summit.

As a resident in Singapore since 2008, I have fully adapted to the city’s life and learned to love its own quirkiness and madness. My tongue have fully adapted to the Island’s rich flavours and strong penchant for chili sauce. I would have cravings for Char Kway Teow and Bah Kut Teh. My mornings won’t be complete without Kaya Toast paired with a heartwarming cup of Teh-C, or if I needed a big jolt, a hot cup of Kopi-C.

Drop me an email at jessette.catral@gmail.com if you want to talk about the fine arts, Alphonse Muchas, cats, mountain tops, running, Haruki Murakami, Aldous Huxley, Ray Bradbury, Woody Allen and psychedellic rock music. It would be great if you would also want to meet up with me and scrutinize me personally and contemplate on the possibility of inviting me to be a part of your Creative Team. :)
